Review

The Conjuring 2 has a running of incredible 134 minutes, the movie is R-rated, and is available on Blu-Ray and DVD and tell us the story about Ed and Lorrain Warren, both are hunting for paranormal activities and do that with request coming from the church. They became more famous that compared to part 1 and they visit a lot of TV shows to clear up about ghost and deamons, but some people still laugh about them. But most of all there is a case called the Enfield Polterghost, happenings which are based on a true story happened in London in 1977. The media was reporting about it and it is someho strange to see a movie with this character, which is based on a true story.

First of all let me tell you something about movie series. The problem is most of the time that the first part is the best and after that the quality becomes lower and lower. The Conjuring 2is nothing like this. The Conjuring 2is psycho terror at its best. James Wan did an incredible job again and the first part set high and new standards already in the horro gene, but The Conjuring 2 is best of the best. I was sweating for 134 minutes long and scared me like no other movie before.

The CAST is again set with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as Lorraine and Ed Warren. That woman has visions, that woman can talk to ghosts, that woman is a media and contact. She is weak and strong at the same time, she is incredible in using her face, showing to be scared, and not to know what will happen next. The movies begins with a scene where she is walking in a house and relives a murder and she is loading a gun in her hands. This is so cool and authentic played, that The Conjuring 2 makes pretty fast clear this is not a funny movie. By her side there is Patrick Wilson as Ed. both have a lot of screen time and tell us their love story, an perfect addition to Vera. Then we have Madison Wolf in the Hodson family. She is the person who has the most interaction with the deamon. What she is performing in her young age already is incredible. How can you teach a kid to perform like this. Respect. And then we have Francis O'Connor the mother of the kids, who is left alone, she has to deal with a lot problems, and then this kind of ghost. At then edn of the movie she is like a wrack in person, she cannot stand it anymore.

The CAMERA in The Conjuring 2 is great, dark and scary, uses some jump scares, and looks like a friend to me who wants to tell us each situation in details. James Wan did a wise choice of moments, when you cannot see what will happen next and dark and quick scaries.

The SETTING is most of time the house of the Hodgsons.

The MUSIC is great, high noise and massively something used not to forget soon.

The EFFECTS are impressive here. James Wan uses lights as an important style, where is light in the middle of the room but not in the corners. Hands are coming out of walls. Little time jumps are also been used, when you are look to the side, then in front again, then to the side again an suddenyl there is something in front of you.

CONCLUSION:
The Conjuring 2 is a master peace of horror. The movie makes clear it is about horror, the first 70 minutes are purely deeply going into your psycho. Than there is more story coming, because of the super performance of the cast, than the showdown. The storytelling is the best of the best. It is great

Genre and overall 10/10 points.
